Dorado Corypheana hippurus is known as Mahi Mahi or Dolphinfish for its acrobatic jumps. In Mexico we call it the Dorado which means “golden”. This is a strong and beautiful acrobatic fish that is perfectly suited to fly fishing or any kind of fishing.
We catch them here from June through September, with peak months being June and July.
